Surrey police wanted a campaign that would get right to the heart of the problem.
Fonemedia devised a campaign of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi push activity that could be delivered
in pubs, bars and clubs in the Surrey area during December.
Using a team of mobile broadcasters with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi packs, we delivered
over 5000 messages onto the handsets of people out socialising. Surrey Police reported
a drop in the number of traffic-related fatalities and the number of people being
charged with drink-driving offences over the Christmas period.
