West Yorkshire Police embarked on the Stay Safe campaign in 2009 with a range of
initiatives aimed at reducing the number of attacks on women in the county. The campaign
focused on a common sense approach -
Fonemedia were challenged to enhance the campaign through the mobile platform, and
began a campaign aimed at delivering the message at source -
The campaign had brilliant results and won the ACPO Effectiveness Award 2010. West Yorkshire Police have gone on to use mobile in subsequent December awareness campaigns.
