For Fonemedia, that work has been our partnership with Zarach — and we’re incredibly proud that this journey has been recognised with a shortlist for Best Charitable/Corporate Social Responsibility Award at the Northern Digital Awards 2026.
How It Started
Our first interaction with Zarach was simple: a conversation about how we could help. We knew about the reality of child bed poverty in Leeds, but it wasn’t until we started meeting the team — hearing the stories, seeing the scale of the challenge — that the partnership really took shape. One stat stayed with us from the start: Thousands of children across our region are sleeping on floors, sofas or in unsafe conditions. Over the past year, we’ve taken part in:- Bed deliveries to families across Leeds
- Team-led fundraising activities
- Awareness-building using our channels and communication platforms
- Volunteering time offered to every colleague
